This depends on the individual’s daily nutritional requirements. Whilst our superfood powders are rich in naturally occurring micronutrients and serve as an effective health supplement, those individuals who are highly active and regularly physically or mentally stressed, or for other reasons (e.g. through injury or illness) have increased daily nutrient demands, may well benefit from the addition of a high dose multivitamin to their daily nutrition regime.

Our 50 Organic Superfoods Drink Mix contains 1 billion viable spore probiotic microorganisms per serving. This dose is typically sufficient to deliver the desired probiotic health benefits; however, in certain instances where a higher dose is required to treat specific health conditions (e.g. in preventing/treating antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, IBS, anxiety, depression, allergies etc.), a stand-alone, high dose probiotic may be required for optimal effect.

Our blends are formulated using a unique trademarked probiotic called LactoSpore®. LactoSpore® is a superior probiotic, which is room-temperature stable and does not require refrigeration. LactoSpore® uses the Bacillus Coagulans species of bacteria, which is a spore-forming probiotic. Spores can survive without nutrients and they are extremely resistant to adverse factors, such as ultraviolet radiation, desiccation, high temperature, freezing and chemicals. Therefore, LactoSpore® maintains viability during preparation and storage until consumption. It also stays viable during the manufacturing process and survives the acidity of stomach and bile acids and digestive enzymes before reaching the intestine, where the spores reactivate and provide their probiotic benefits.

Each product has a unique taste as they all contain different flavouring ingredients, from cocoa to vanilla and various other natural fruity flavours. You should store your tub in a cool, dry place like your pantry, although storing opened containers in your fridge may help to prevent moisture absorption and clumping, especially in warm, humid environments, thereby potentially extending shelf life.
