Kelly is the creator of kellystegen.com (formerly known as Kelfit Lifestyle) - a product born from her love of helping people become the best possible version of themselves. She is a mom of two, an ISSA Qualified Sports and Fitness Specialist and Nutritionist, and has coached clients all over the world, from America, Australia and New Zealand to Dubai, the UK and even up in Africa.
After battling with her weight throughout her life, Kelly decided enough was enough; she made the decision to get on stage after watching a fitness show in 2009. It took her 12 weeks to transform her body, and she has since gone on to compete in 12 fitness competitions and represent Natal in the SA Champs three times. Kelly is also passionate about helping mothers manage their weight and constantly strive to be the best versions of themselves.

We checked in with Kelly to see how she and her family are staying balanced during lockdown:
1. What are your top tips for remaining healthy during lockdown?
Keep your gut healthy by limiting artificial sweeteners, sugar and alcohol. If you have a healthy gut you will have a healthy immune system.
Get some training in every day, even if that's a 15-minute brisk walk. Walking and general exercise increases the serotonin in your brain, and a healthy mind equals a healthy life.
Make sure you drink at least 2-3 litres of water per day. In lockdown, we tend to drink too much juice, tea and coffee; water is essential.
2. What is your favourite way to take your Nature’s Nutrition and what is your favourite flavour?
I absolutely love the chocolate flavour in a whey protein smoothie with an apple, Blue Diamond almond milk and stacks of ice.
3. What are your daughters’ favourite ways to take Nature’s Nutrition?
They love the kid's chocolate flavour with banana, peanut butter and milk - they have it every single day!
